HackShop is a versatile collection of sampled blips, beeps, bumps and squeals from the circuit bent arsenal of The Violent Scar (http://twitter.com/TheViolentScar). TVS specializes in bending and modifying toys and equipment with echo feedback circuitry. Some of the most industrial and aggressive sounds he achieves are squeezed out of a certain Barbie karaoke machine that TVS has mastered the manipulation of.

His flagship machine known simply as The Dueling Bitches, combines two of these circuits with multiple parameter controls, as well as input and output of each circuit enabling for cross patching and running them in parallel or series. All of these options were put to use while recording sounds for HackShop.

Puremagnetik also sampled TVS' circuit patchable Yamaha DD-5, modified toy guitar effects machine, and custom built optical theremin. TVS has provided Puremagnetik with the unique opportunity to bring all these dark and twisted tones directly to you and your DAW for immediate sonic experimentation.

Customized for Ableton Live

HackShop for Ableton Live has been programmed deeply into Drum Racks and Instrument Racks with tons of effects and customized Macros for quick and easy access to extremely tweakable sounds. The Textural and Rhythmic Clips all load onto audio tracks with custom Effect Racks for lush sound design and musical chemistry. The Percussive Clips load with one of the 4 Drum Racks giving you the ability to edit the MIDI performance or adjust the parameters to your liking.

Customized for Logic and Kontakt

The Logic version of HackShop includes special channel strip configurations for each instrument. The HackShop Apple Loops collection is a combination of Textural and Rhythmic Audio loops along with some Percussive SIAL's that will load into Logic with one of the percussion menus and channel strips in place. HackShop for Kontakt comes complete with customized KSPs for layer blending and effects parameter tweaking.

Extreme English! contains over 45,000 English words and phrases, including basic vocabulary (Basic English collections in various language versions), technical and scientific vocabulary (Advanced English), and highly advanced vocabulary required on college exams in the United States (Power Words!). In addition, the package includes English grammar (exercises for the most important problems of English grammar), irregular Verbs (a collection of essential irregular verb forms), and pronunciation and spelling (which enables you to practice pronouncing and spelling those English words which foreigners find the most challenging).

Words and phrases in Extreme English! are presented in the form of questions and answers. In the Basic English collections, your task is to give the English translation of a phrase which is presented in German, English, Czech, Russian, Polish or Finnish, depending on your chosen language version. In Advanced English, the questions are definitions of English words. In the Power Words! collection your task is to give an answer based on the definition or a synonym of a word.
All English texts in Extreme English! are illustrated with recordings of English speakers (American pronunciation model). You can record your own pronunciation and compare it with the pronunciation of the speaker. The recordings in Basic English represent both british and american pronunciation models.

Extreme English! is equipped with a voice control system which recognizes English voice commands. It can be used to activate program options and control the training process without using the keyboard. We recommend the use of headphones for maximum convenience.
The Extreme English! training content, coupled with the functionality of supermemo software, is a perfect way to learn English words and phrases effectively. By making regular reviews (as scheduled by SuperMemo), you can keep previously learned information in your memory and concentrate on learning new vocabulary.

Although the name SMERSH sounds like something out of an old Get Smart! episode, nobody laughed at this counterespionage organization during the Second World War. Translated into English, this acronym means "Death to spies," which pretty much sums up the no-nonsense nature of this precursor to the Soviet Union's dreaded KGB. The game of the same name from Russian developer Haggard Games doesn't mess around either, presenting some of the grittiest stealth action to hit the sneaker genre since Agent 47 first shaved his head. Open-ended mission objectives, smart level design, and extreme difficulty also add to the realism, proving that developers haven't wrung all of the good game ideas out of WWII quite yet.
